INTERFACE DESCRIPTION
Graphic Display of Search Results
The search results are displayed graphically in the lower window of the program (Fig. 27). The wave length is shown at the X-Line and the intensity is shown at the Y-line. The data from the arch intensity field containing in both tables, "By Elements" and "By Waves Lengths", is used as the line intensity value for graphical display.

If you select one of the elements in the right window, the lines belonging to it will be displayed in red color (in Fig. 27 red color lines belong to cobalt). The lines belonging to other elements will be displayed in blue color.
Double click on any line in the graphic window underlines it with red dotted line and selects this line in the table of results. For more exact viewing of lines arrangement, the picture can be scaled by selecting the necessary square with the help of the mouse. In Fig. 28 you can see the scaled spectral lines arrangement in the waves lengths (the lines of iron are showed in red color). By pressing the right button of the mouse the graphic image comes back to its initial state.

With the help of the keys < and >, you can shift in the scale of lines length. At the same time, the cursor in the table of results also moves to the same line. To shift up and down the lines, you can use the keys ^ and v. Thus, there is a consecutive shift in the table of results and the corresponding shift of the line indicator in the graphic window. While selecting any line in the table of results or in the graphic window, in the window of choice of elements the corresponding element is also selected.
Note: If any of the inquiry parameter is changed, the table of results and their graphic display will be accessible only after the repeated search.
