Post - processing menu
includes options which are useful only after finishing calculation process.
They enable the precise control of the data and values to be shown and the
way to be shown.
1. Postprocessing options
dialog's (Postprocessing->Postprocessing Options or
in the
toolbar) purpose is the control of visualization of the calculated results.
It is enabled only after finished calculation. You can choose the kind of
value to appear (among velocity, pressure and shear-stress),
choose between color and vector view (or both of them) and between showing
the single layer of the object or the values in the entire model. The slider
enables choosing the layer along the model and is disabled when Show All
is checked. There is no vector view for the pressure, because it's
scalar value, and there's no layer view of the Shear Stress. If you want to
see either color or vector view of Shear Stress, choose Show All.

2. Palette Editor (Postprocessing->Palette
Editor) option opens a dialog for the palette manipulation, so you can load,
save, change or construct any kind of palette. There are 256 colors in any
palette for use in this software. Usually they are constructed not by
choosing each color separately, but by defining some number of nodal points
(with red border on figure downwards) and letting editor interpolate other
colors. In the Selection box you'll see the index of the chosen color
in your palette (0-255). Any index can be defined as a nodal point by
choosing Add. You can also delete one single node, or all of them, by
choosing Delete and Delete All respectively. Red, green and
blue components of chosen index can be seen in the appropriate boxes and
changed in the color dialog (opens on Modify... button). You can also
load predefined or your hand made palette (Load...), and save them (Save...).
The palette files have .PAL extension and you can find some in the
"Palette" folder.

3. Scale (Postprocessing->Scale)
option (or
) opens the non-modal dialog which shows the vertical palette of colors and
the corresponding numbers which depend on the chosen options in
Postprocessing options. If you want to highlight some part of the
spectrum (either high or low) you can change color bias in the box bellow
the palette. Values either less or greater than one turns your palette into
logarithmic palette. The bias value should not be exactly 1.

4. The Wire frame
appearance can also be controlled by View->Wire frame or
.
