Remark
is an integrated CMS that manages
large client portals or huge web portals. It consists of 3
subsystems interconnected by database:
- portal generator
- content management system
- management of CRM
Remark is built as a pure Java application
server. The XML based portal generator offers strong support for personalization.
The Management System allows defining hierarchy of
the editors and users by role based user management (ACL). It enables
cooperation on the content units by defining document flow and convenient
workflow. Content may be imported, retrieved automatically from the content
provider or edited using built-in WYSIWYG DHTML editor.
Besides the content (text, images, multimedia),
Remark can fully manage the following objects: News, Chat, Discussion forum
(moderated), Banners (banner management), Newsletter with subscription
management (e-mails, SMS), Survey and full-text search (through content).
Remark completely separates content from design and minimizes the number of necessary front-end templates.
System is open for new functionalities and
content objects.
