Gene StudioTM is integrated software system to provide state-of-the-art gene and genome analyses.
While Gene Studio is a pure JavaTM application it can be executed in any platform.
Goals
Gene Studio is designed for:
User data management and querying and extracting the information from databases on molecular biology.
Automated generation of nucleotide sequence samples of various gene parts from semantic analysis of the EMBL / GenBank Feature Table parsing.
Analysis of nucleotide sequences of gene and genomes. Gene Studio includes most common nucleotide sequence analysis methods as well as provides open API to integrate custom methods of analysis.
Semantic integration of results from complementary analyses methods and from experimental data to provide the most reliable predictions.
Script language that is extension of Java Script allows a user automate data analyses using analyses scenarios.
Visualization of the database-contained information and the results of analyses performed.

July, 2002 - version 1.0, beta.
December, 2002 - version 1.0, final.
