We have a 3-tier transcription quality assurance process. The team units include a Junior Medical Transcriptionist, a Senior Medical Transcriptionist and a Quality Analyst who is also the supervisor. There are four junior MTs and two SMTs under a supervisor or QA.
The junior MTs transcribe 300-500 lines per day, depending upon their speed, with around 80% accuracy. Their work is checked by a Senior MT. After passing the first quality level, the transcribed files are additionally screened by the QA. After giving final approval the files are uploaded to the ftp server and dispatched to the customer.
This elaborate process assures an accuracy rate of above 98.6%. Turnaround time is between 12 and 24 hours.
